My silhouette friend,
I am walking down in the midnight
The street is calm and quiet
And not a soul is around
When suddenly out of the shadows
Appears a silhouette of a beautiful woman
Standing there in the middle of the street
Her inner beauty is as visible to me
As though as if I can see inside her
Walking up to her being drawn like a magnet
As if I have known her for all my life times
When I get close to her she grabs my hand
And in a blink of an eye we are in a park
Sitting on the fresh green grass and talking
I want to know everything about this woman
Sitting in front of me I am simply mesmerized
But in some ways I feel like I already know her
We talk for what seems like eternity yet hours
But as I come to find out with the passing seasons
Changing in front of my eyes it has been many years
She lets me be the man I need to be and want to be
Never judging me for showing all my emotions
And lets me even cry in her presence with comfort
Of her gentle and loving heart and wipes them away
For this beautiful soul I talk about
Is my best friend forever and always
I am proud to call her that and more
Treasuring this within my heart for all days

Thank you for being there
