The issues that America is facing as a whole are more concerning today than they have ever been in history, and yet, racism will still prevent many white Americans from voting for Barack because of his skin colour. We need a leader who is dedicated and physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually able to lead us in strength and power, and although Barack fits all those conditions, his colour may still be an offence to some.
Those people will vote against Barack specifically because of his colour and without giving any thought or concern to his leading abilities. There is an unfortunate injustice given to the freedoms and liberties of all Americans when some voters take it upon themselves to negate the real issues at hand. The colour of a man's skin has nothing to do with the greater problems that America is facing. It's what the man is made up of inside that will determine whether or not he is capable of carrying his mission through as president.
America, like many other countries in the world, is facing struggles that it has never faced before. There are economical issues that are growing intensely and require immediate attention. People are hurting and something must be devised to regain their confidence and faith in the government, and that will be a positive move to help pull them out of this overwhelming slump.
There are medical and employment issues, not to mention social, climatic and educational issues that far exceed the petty concerns of a person's skin colour. And most Americans have come to the realization and recognition that we are facing serious matters that could have a terrible effect on us if they aren't handled properly.
As Americans, we are all looking to a leader who is able to give his time and strength to these issues, and who will deal with them realistically and not superciliously. Even our neighbours agree that America is facing perilous times like never before in history. She has been under attack from forces that she has never dealt with before, and with many of them occurring simultaneously.
The weather catastrophes alone have had a devastating affect on so many Americans, and we need a leader who will work with the country as a whole to get her restored back to health. We need someone who will work with other countries as an aide to them, and in a global effort for the sake of all humanity.
America stands in the front lines like a soldier against terrorism and represents the rights of freedom to so many other countries. There are decisions to implement and sacrifices to make so that America can have victory over every enemy. And we need someone to make the right decisions in these issues.
There are military decisions that require serious attention and direction, and the complexity of those issues alone is more than most Americans can comprehend. If the one running for president of the United States has the insight, the ability and the wisdom to maintain a level head of decision so that the best interests of not only America, but of all countries, is the foremost on his mind and in his actions, then that should be the focus of our concern.
And for all these things, we need someone who will stand in the gap and lead us in power and unity. Most Americans agree to the seriousness of these issues, and most of them will come to the voter's box with those issues on their minds. They will come in reverence to see that the best candidate is elected, and the colour of Barack's skin will have little importance to those who are voting for liberty and justice and the American way.
