To properly understand this subject in the Biblical sense one must go to the source of information, which is the Holy Bible, and study the word meanings from the Hebrew and Greek. When you do so you have to come to the proper conclusion that homosexual relations are a sin, which is referred to by God as an abomination. Let us look first in the Old Testament to see what God thinks about this subject.

Lev 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with humankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
Lev 20:13 if a man also lies with humankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Now you can look up the word," mankind" and see that it means,"

properly remembered, that is, a male (of man or animals, as being the most noteworthy sex): - X him, male, man (child, -kind).

From this it is not hard to see that the word refers to a man having sex with a man, and calls it an abomination and calls for them to be to death. The word abomination in the Hebrew means something disgusting in a moral sense.

The term womankind is from a word referring to the feminine of the word for terms for man or mankind.

Now we can look for another reference, which has been seriously taken out of context and butchered to fit the views of the homosexual community. The text I am referring to is Gen. 18:20
And the LORD said, because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;

Now some want to say that the sin of Sodom was that they where not friendly and did not welcome visitors properly. That is rather hard to fit in with a "grievous" sin and is very hard to fit in with Gen19:5
"And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, where are the men, which came in to thee this night? Bring them out unto us, that we may know them."

The term "know them" refers to the sexual act. In Gen 4:1, it states that Adam "knew" Eve his wife and she conceived. It is not hard to see that it is referring to having sex with your mate. This can be seen throughout the Bible therefore going back to Gen 19:5 we can see that what the men wanted was to take the visitors in Lots house and have perverted sex with them. The attempt to twist to say it was the lack of proper treatment of the visitors, not making them welcome, was the reason the city was destroyed is preposterous.

The naysayers who want to live there live without answering to God about the sinful ways say that Jesus never mentioned the homosexual issue, but
