My last thoughts of the day
It's 2 am and time for me
To put my quill away
I'm not quite sure why I can't sleep
On this late September night
I just hopped up out of my bed

But this poem will be quicker
One more little stanza
And I will be on my way
I have to be at work by eight
And there's nothing left to say
