Treatment options for chronic fatigue syndrome
While the cause of chronic fatigue syndrome is vast, so is the treatment options offered to the people who suffers with this dreadful disease. There are no actual tests that can prove that the symptoms are chronic fatigue symptoms, or something all together different, like painful muscle and joints, of arthritis, or fibromyalgia. The main symptoms are tiredness, no energy once so ever, restlessness, unable of sleep very well, headaches, etc. While these are the main symptoms of chronic fatigue symptoms, they are also the main symptoms of some forms of arthritis.
After you have taken all the tests that will help to diagnose chronic fatigue syndrome, and eliminate the other diseases that have the same symptoms, there are some treatment options that may help you deal with this painful disease that has attacked your muscles, joints, and your whole body, for that matter. There are some over the counter arthritis pain relievers that help to some degree, and some rubs that may help relieve the muscle tension for a while, at least in the beginning.
One way to relieve some of the pain of chronic fatigue syndrome is slow, even stretches that can be done lying down, sitting up, and standing. These stretches can alleviate some of the tightness in the joints, and muscles, of your arms, legs, back, neck, and any other joints that are affected. This should be done several times during each day. I find that climbing a couple of flights of stairs a couple of times a day, helps to relieve the stiffness in the legs and lower back. That's one of the ways that may help you without having to take any medication at all.
On to some of the treatment relief medications your doctor may give you to help with the pain. The first one is a muscle relaxant, it helps keep the stiffness out of your joints, but it does come with some side effects. These drugs leave you feeling weird, I can't really tell you how they may feel when you take these types of drugs, but to me they sort of make me feel as if I was on a drunk, that blah kind of feeling of heaviness.
Rubs like A5-35, tiger balm, or heat rubs will help somewhat, but only for a short period of time. They now have the patches in these rub forms which lasts a little longer, but do not help all that much, at least not for me, I can't say how they will work on anyone else, I am going by personal experience on this one.
Some people may be affected by this disease simply because they eat certain types
