We sit in our small corner of the world and judge events through our human awareness and logic, absent much, if any, direction from the Holy Bible. If we know just a little about God's Word, we can make it fit into any theory we want and many of those around us would nod in agreement and pat us on the back for our profound wisdom and knowledge. Then, we move forward with our magnified intellectual egos and grow more attached to our own world view that we fail to realize that we are looking through the wrong lens. There is one absolute authority, however, and that is the Holy Bible. If we did not have one source of truth, everything would be relative and if everything were relative, there would be no hope whatsoever.
Now that we have established this, it would be wise for people to humble themselves to the Master and Creator of the universe and accept His prophetic words with regards to Armageddon. Words that extend beyond the day to day moral decay of our society. Words that extend beyond the countless earthquakes we are experiencing. Words that extend beyond the daily brutality we see between flesh and blood. These are all signs He told us that would mark the end of the age, and without question, these headlines are beaming across the television satellites every day.
Let's keep our eyes focused on Israel, God's chosen land. As all of the other prophetic signs are being fed to us through the 24 hour- a-day cable news outlets, it would be wise to read the Middle East Headlines out of Jerusalem as we see that the land of Israel is in the process of being divided and even more stunning, the capital of Jerusalem is on the chopping block as well. The entire world is frantically pushing Israel to sacrifice her land to terrorist neighbors, and sadly, Israel's leaders seem to be acquiescing.
Also, the Bible tells us about an evil coalition coming against Israel, one that will likely include many of her neighbors as well as Russia. If you read the headlines in the Middle East, you will see this coalition is forming and is poised with its own "justification" to annihilate God's chosen land and the Jewish people. It is very real threat, and without any biblical knowledge whatsoever, it would be easy to determine that there are countless enemies surrounding Israel- none of whom have intentions of seeking peace until Israel is either completely surrendered or destroyed.
The bible tells us that these events would all be happening simultaneously in the last days. It also tells us that they would happen like a "woman in labor", which means that the frequency, intensity, and duration of these shocks would increase. The world is in a very unstable place right nowso much so that anyone, Christian or not, can discern that we are in trouble. But, the Bible said it would be this way. Open it up and start reading and you will be amazed at the precise accuracy of God's Word written over 2,500 years ago. It is time to wake up and accept that the Lord's Word is the only truth. Now is the time because one day every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is LORD. It's your choice nowone day it won't be.
