Natural Methods of Birth spacing

For most new mothers, the thought of becoming pregnant again soon is frightening.
Effective birth control is therefore of paramount importance. Breastfeeding mothers are often concerned about medications that might be transferred to their babies in their breast milk.
Fortunately, there are several safe methods available for prevention of pregnancy in women who choose to breastfeed their infants

Natural Methods of Birth spacing are:-
Observational method - rely on biological signs of fertility
The statistical or "calendar" method
Coitus interruptus
Lactational Amenorrhea method
Observational method
Tracks biological signs of fertility. Which is based on a scientific method of self-
observation, temperature, external and internal mucus, and cervical observations
If two or more signs are tracked, the method is referred to as a sympto-thermal
method.
Some fertility monitoring devices used to interpret temperature readings &urinalysis
to follow changes in levels of estrogen and luteinizing hormone, or both.
This Method tracks reproductive health in general, and aid in the diagnosis of
Gynecological health and /or fertility problem
For perfect users, the failure rate of only 2-3%, but this method is completely
ineffective if used incorrectly.
The calendar-rhythm method is based on three assumptions:
Ovulation occurs fourteen days before the beginning of menstruation (give or take
two days)
Sperm can live for three days
The egg lives for twenty-four hours
The effectiveness of calendar rhythm method :- The annual failure rate for married
couples is 20%.

Coitus interruptus, it is also known as withdrawal or the pull out method of contraception,
primarily to avoid introducing semen into the vagina.
This method has been widely used for at least 2,000 years and was used by an
estimated 38 million couples worldwide(1991).
Failure rate is
Perfect use 4%
Typical use 15-28%

Lactational Amenorrhea method ( LMA)
It is the practice of using breastfeeding ,to prevent pregnancy. And it is the oldest
and most widely used natural contraceptive method. Ecological breastfeeding is a
stricter form of LAM developed by Sheila Kippley, one of the founders of the Couple
to Couple League.
7 Standards of ecological breastfeeding
Breastfeeding must be the infant's only source of nutrition (if the infant is less
than six months old).
The infant must be pacified at the breast, not with pacifiers or bottles
The infant must be breastfed often. Scheduling of feedings
