Using Bisquick may seem like cheating when it comes to baking, but all it is mainly a combination of dry ingredients that are ready to add the liquid ingredients and embellishments. Bisquick is the place to go when looking for a quick homemade quick bread recipe.

This is a simple Bisquick Apple Coffee Cake that is simple to make but tastes like it is completely homemade.

Apple Coffee Cake

2 cups Bisquick
1 cup sugar
1/ cup melted butter
1 egg + milk to make one cup

Mix all of these ingredients together.

Pour in a 13 x 9 pan.

Pour 1 can apple pie filling over the dough.

Mix together

1 cup of flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Sprinkle the topping mix over the top of the apple pie filling.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.

This recipe is great for a quick brunch recipe. It can be made in minutes, placed in the oven and when guests arrive it is ready to serve.
