Causes of chronic fatigue syndrome

This disease sometimes occurs after the patient has suffered with an illness, such as the flu, intestinal infection, mononucleosis, and many other illness's that runs the body down. Chronic fatigue is not just something that will go away, once you get this disease, if never really goes away. It is an excruciating pain in the joints that will not go away with exercise, or pain medications; it's an all new lifestyle. Chronic pain causes the patient to suffer terribly with joint and muscle pain so severe it leaves the patient incapable of living any sort of normal life.

Chronic fatigue syndrome is found more in women, than in men. Studies are currently being conducted to see if there is a connection between chronic fatigue, and a dysfunction of the nervous, and immune system in patients. It has been found that vitamin deficiency may be one of the main causes in chronic fatigue syndrome.

This disease is not only brought on by contacting such things as the flu, or cold that will leave the body run down, it can also be brought on by the patient going through a long stressful period in their life. There is no proof that it is any of those symptoms that directly causes chronic fatigue syndrome. Studies suggest that chronic fatigue syndrome can be activated after the patient has been through illness such as stress, environmental problems, and thyroid problems, nutritious deficiently, certain viruses, and a long list of other causes of chronic fatigue syndrome.

This disease is not just about feeling tired all the time; it's a feeling of absolutely no energy in the body at all. The symptoms of this disease can range in many forms, and the fact that chronic fatigue can be triggered of by a large number of symptoms such as, muscle and joint pain throughout the whole body. Severe headaches, not being able to sleep at night, unable to concentrate on anything for very long, sore throats for no apparent reason; because you do not have a cold, or the flu, are just a few things that will contribute to chronic fatigue syndrome outbreaks in your body.

Many studies have been done attempting to find the reason chronic fatigue latches onto some people, and not others, whom have had the symptoms of this disease. All the studies conducted have come back as inconclusive, so far. They can't figure out what actually cause chronic fatigue syndrome.

There are some treatments that can help with the pain of this disease such as pain relievers, muscle relaxants, anti-depressants, and antihistamines, which offers some relief in reducing the cold, or flu like symptoms. Chronic fatigue syndrome is not an exact diagnosis, but it may explain the symptoms that occur in many people, who also suffer with the same symptoms.
