Waste
The field danced with autumn
framed by traffic, city and boys'
visible breathe at footy.
At the edge, by the path
and the melting tree
consumerism glistened.
Mouth slightly cracked
spitting dirty rice
condensation fanning.
People passed oblivious
to the waste of society
wallowing there.
Indefinitely.
