Alone
Dirty red hills roll-up
rendering all they touch
rusty. White eucalypti surprise
standing straight green
halo saluting the sun.
Birds above circle
in the aqua sky filled
with powder-puff clouds
cartoon-hung.
White sand scorches
causing me to hop-run to the sea
I dive into its cool relief
the silky silence soothing.
Underneath all is quiet
a peaceful refuge
from the glaring gaze
perceivably private
and only mine.

Sweet meadow scent fills my senses,
The sunbeams peek through the clouds,
Sending golden rays

A view from the room
through a boarded window pane.
The open highway beckons an
adventurous mind, poised
I'm lying on a patch of grass
that over looks the bay,
and water looks like a sheet of glass,
it made me feel like i could
