Ignorant Destruction
Drowning in a sea of
disappearing dirt and
rising red,
the legacy of our forefathers.
The watchful eye
sees all,
does nothing
there's no hope for us now.
Alone in the land we have loved
forced to fight what feeds,
smoke rises,
covering our pain
causing ignorance to our
destruction.
I look up to the sky
and as the cloud cover comes
I know
there's no hope
for anyone
anymore.
