Yes it's true I am prejudice, though at times I can't believe it. We are all prejudice in one way or another. The problem is those of us who admit it, can correct our prejudice. I am guilty of it though I don't want to admit it. The world is not the same nor is it the world I want to stay in. To all you out there remember this.
The world owes you nothing; you owe it to the world to be all you can be.
There should not be a Black African American/Canadian. Why must we always use the term Black? why must we judge people on the colour of their skin? And why must we always use ethnic terms when telling jokes. Sure at times they are very funny. And me being Greek I don't mind the odd Greek joke. But there are people that jokes do offend. And I happen to be one of the ignorant people out there who took so long to understand this simple thing. Yes I am guilty! But I am trying not to be prejudice, and its working.
In this cruel world that we live in currently is a world of the almighty buck. Those that have it want more. Those that don't have it want to accumulate it. Those with a million dollars want ten million; those with a billion want ten billion. When will enough be enough?
Like in the United States current elections for the presidency of the United States. People including the news media are stating: We might have the first black president; we might have the first female Vice President. Are the Americans ready for a black president? or a female vice president? The answer is simple No they are not. They are ready to elect whomever is the best qualified to lead them. It should not matter the colour of their skin, nor should it matter of their gender. But in fact it does, we are prejudice, and in order to understand how prejudice we are, you must first learn to understand what prejudice is all about.
I still don't understand it, I wish I had a magic wand to wave and end all prejudices, but first I would end War, then hunger, then prejudices that we all have. It's just not us White people that are Prejudice, its all people. The quicker we can learn to judge people by their abilities rather then their skin. That is the first step in making this world a better place to live for all concerned.
Can you end prejudice in your community? The answer is no. Can you stop being prejudice yourself? The answer is yes.
Why can't we as A People of all races learn to get along with each other? Why must the rich get richer, the poor get poorer, and the homeless become more abundant? Hell
