Stressful, heat breaking, aggravating final exams. The students fuss, complain and cram, but of what importance are they really? What is their purpose? Final exams show exactly what the students have crammed into their mind, and what they really know.
The final exams should possibly be the easiest test that is taken in the class! Everything on the test is material that has already been studied. The papers, crosswords, class games, and study guides are a main focus for final exams. Any worksheets given are supplied as ways to lock the information in your head for the big exams.
With seen and studied material, the answers are at the student's hands. So their final score is up to them. Study, remember, and pass. It's not too complicated. With this in mind, the student's work ethic and their dedication. Instead of those who do Myspace and study bit by bit.
Final exams are the overview of the year and the acquired knowledge throughout. Although most teachers may let the final exams sneak up and they try to throw a bunch of new stuff at the last minute, they mean well. So that will add to whether the student really wants to have the A or the C.
As students, like I said, we blow things out of proportion. There are the lazy but smart ones, the lazy, and the dedicated. As far as final exams are concerned, they all better become the dedicated. That last exam could mean the difference between pass and fail.
Now for all the last minute crammers. Remember this: the greatest focus should be studying old tests. It is most likely to see those exact same questions and maybe a couple revised. Next would be any study guides or notes the teacher printed out or went into great detail with the class. On the test, watch out for anything that may try to throw you off as well.
Because you are cramming the night before, you should write down the high notes and anything that will help you remember what you have shoved into your brain that night. Then the next morning before the test, read over what you wrote down and make sure its all still there in the back of your mind. After the test, do yourself a favor and dedicate yourself to stop cramming! (trust me though, it's a very hard task)
For those who studied throughout the year, and have pretty much everything learned packed into their minds, pat yourself on the back. You should still faintly refresh your memory the week and a little the night before the final exam, just to sharpen your skills of course. Then lay back, read a book, watch t.v., chill, workout, whatever your style is, celebrate a but, But get plenty of sleep.
