Fiending

It's been too long since I've looked at the stars
and watched them spiral out of control
I used to gaze up from the city streets
and let the sky crash into the world.

now everything stands still for me
as I walk all my straight lines
I ask again and again, bored in my mind
Could I lose control one more time?

I want to fall in love all over again
but the time just has not come,
So i lose myself in the drum and bass
and let my senses switch their roles
I want to feel alive one night
and not lay all alone
I'm selling my soul all over again
For another chemical affair

I've been good, all sugar and spice
two years, way too long
I want to replace it with asbinthe and ice
and kiss away the pain

Drop one pill, then two, then three
I want this to last all night
can't find ecstasy with one I love
So I'll find X from above

I want to fall in love all over again
but the time just has not come,
So i lose myself in the drum and bass
and let my senses switch their roles
I want to feel alive one night
and not lay all alone
I'm selling my soul all over again
For another chemical affair
