Being an Australian myself, I found Steve Irwins death extremely hard to swallow. When I first heard on the radio of the possibility of him being dead, I thought to myself "No, not possible. Not the Croc Hunter.". The True Blue Aussie won hearts all over the world with his animal antics and daredevil approach to dealing with dangerous animals.
Dying while filming the documentary for young Bindi was something that meant a lot to the Croc Hunter and the fact that he died doing what he loved best would have made him so happy. He died as he lived. Surrounded by nature and animals that he adored.
Keeping the dream of The Australian Zoo and Wildlife Warriors alive, Terri, Bindi and Bob are doing exactly what Steve would have wanted them to do. Bindi is an amazing young lady and while Bob is almost an exact replica of his father, Bindi has the Croc Hunters heart. Her speech at Steve's memorial and her animals shows are doing exactly what her father did, winning the hearts of people all over the world.
The Irwins are a strong family network and I cannot think of another family that could represent Australia better than them. I am proud that they are fellow Aussie's and I am so proud of everything that they are doing for the Australian wildlife. I wish the family all the success in the world for their Wildlife Warrior missions and RIP Steve mate. You will forever be in the hearts of people all over the world.
