Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova have been romantically linked dating right back to 2002 now. In June 2008 Enrique Iglesias announced to the English press that they were no longer together, but between 2003 and 2008 there has always been quite an are they' or aren't they' controversy as to whether or not the couple are actually married. It was in his announcement to the English press that Enrique Iglesias seemingly put all rumours to bed and clarified as to what had actually happened between the couple. Enrique Iglesias made the statement that they had married the previous year but now were separated; the seven year romance was over, but they had indeed eventually wed.

It is possible that what Enrique said to the English press was all a lie however and that the couple are still together; the fact of the matter is that no one really knows what's going on between the couple except for the couple themselves and we're currently just as in the dark as we always have been. Stories seem to change week-in, week-out; it's hard to keep up with it all really and that seems to be exactly the way the like it to be.

Throughout the couple's relationship they have always been very much in the public eye and there have frequently been rumours surrounding them; in both 2003 and 2005 also rumours began to circulate that the couple had married, no one has ever really known as to whether the couple are married or not though; it has always been very mysterious and there has always been a great air of secrecy surrounding the relationship that these two have

Kournikova actually appeared in the video for the Enrique Iglesias track Escape' in 2002 as Enrique's love interest in the video; it was at this time then that rumours first began to bubble under regarding their relationship and it all escalated from there. The couple were shown kissing in the video, romantically embraced and with a definite chemistry between one another. From here on in the media hype heightened and from this point onwards the couple were always very much in the media eye, their relationship was placed under the public spotlight for all to see and this is where it has remained ever since.

Are the couple still together though? I can't actually answer that question; you could try asking the couple themselves, that'll probably get you nowhere however and currently I don't think anyone really knows what's going on between Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova; possibly not even the couple themselves. The relationship between Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournivoka has always been a very confusing matter and perhaps it always will be. It's been quite an interesting journey so far and who knows what the future may hold for these two and their incredibly confusing on-off relationship.
