The initiative for a pool is to relax, to laugh, and enjoy its refreshment on a hot day. Although when searching for a pool the type of water used should seriously be considered. In a chlorinated pool you stink, your eyes get red and itchy if opened, fabrics begin to fade and an excessive amount of money and work is put into keeping them in accessible conditions. It really isn't worth the hassle when there is an alternative idea. Salt water pools; it's that simple. The salt is not overbearing like that of chlorine, it makes the water more gentle making it capable to open your eyes without the pain. It is safer, swallowing chlorine can't exactly do your body good. Pools with salt water have also been proven to keep away infections making it less likely for ear infections, and is all around very rejuvenating to the body. Salt water doesn't stink and is much more easier to keep clean.
You must be thinking how does the pool stay clean just by using salt? A salt water pool system consists of one thing, a generator. The salt runs through the generator and turns into Hypochlorus acid, the same component that is used to chlorine when added into a pool. When the water then returns back into the pool it is clean and keeps aways algea and dirt; just as treating a chlorinated pool would. A generator is affordable and easily kept clean.
How much salt is needed? Where do i buy it? A salt water pool only requires one treatment per a year. Add 50 pounds of salt to every 2000 gallons of water. Which is very considerable considering it is only eight dollars for 40 pounds and six dollars for one treatment to a chlorinated pool. Salt water pools may seem to expensive but it pays off in the end; not only in finances but also in quality. No need for treatments, continuous cleaning, nor chlorine. Add some pool salt once and your good for the whole year. It's that simple, alt water swimming pools is the right way to go!
