Lazy of worst of all , that I didn't care about my kids!
People can be cruel and they often behave as though they must give voice to an
opinion just because they have one . Or that kicking someone when their down is
somehow useful.
It can be tough to bear when you have to wait 3 or 4 days for enough energy to drive
accross town to see a doctor who refuses to run tests on you or who says it's all in your
head.
It can also be tough to take when the simple act of doing the dishes requires a 3 hour
nap and a good day means the differance between weather or not you get your teeth
bushed and you have to endure someone's good ideas on how you can get your act
together.
IT can be really tough to take when your so feeble that you can't lift a cup of tea without
shaking so badly you spill it , only to have some "Friend" tell you " you just need to get
off your butt and do some housework!"
AND it can be excruciating to watch other people having fun with your kids when you
can only dream of having the energy to carve the pumpkin or toss the ball.
There is no cure for C.F.S. and recovery is long.It can take 25 years in some cases
Recovery is a matter of diet and lifestyle changes. And my advice to anyone who
suspects after reading this article that they or someone they know may be suffering
from C.F.S. is: "Head for the nearest library and take out as many books as you can on
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and impliment the phase 1 diet. Don't wait for your doctor to
get on line he can't do a lot for you anyway chances are,and it will be up to you to turn it
around.
After you ve educated yourself and implimented the diets the next order of business is
to weed out anything and anyone that takes energy without offering any returns on your
investment. this includes relationships with "takers" or that are one-sided and as well it
means that people who "don't beleive in Chronic Fatigue Syndrome" must be avoided
and their influence curtailed, at least until you are stronger. The last thing you need to
do is spend your energy defending yourself when it will take everything you have to get
better.
Absolutely everything, from the food we eat to the people we meet to the state of our
home and the state of our mind . EVERYTHING will either add to or subtract from our
energy. While you are recovering you can no longer afford any subtractions
This includes the thoughts we think. It is important to keep our thoughts on things that
bring us joy,and that keep us inspired ,hopeful and uplifted
