Are you tired of the regular, same ole same ole, french fries? Do you want your kids' taste buds to experience something new? These baked sweet potato fries will please even the most finicky eaters.
For this recipe, you'll need:
4 large sweet potatoes
3 T. olive oil
1 T. butter, melted
1/2 T. salt
1/2 T. freshly cracked black pepper
1 T. cajun seasoning
1 T. paprika
1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (adjust the temperature to your oven's calibration).
2. Cut the potatoes just as you would for regular french fries.
3. Lay them on a baking sheet lined with tin foil. Pour the olive oil and melted butter onto the fries. Coat with the seasonings, making sure that each fry and each side is seasoned.
4. Bake for at least fifteen to twenty minutes, or until middle is soft and edges are crisp.
