It is my personal believe that they're are doctors on both sides of this issue. Being disabled and a chronic pain patient for several years now. I can say in all clarity. That the majority of doctors are motivated by money! I will not sugar-coat this issue like most of the article's I've read, tend to do. Since I was declared disabled and having to exist on Medicare and Social Security. I can assure you in all honesty. That the treatment you receive is positively, second rate! As soon as the majority of doctors find out you are a Medicare patient. There is a noticeable change in the demeanor of every person on they're staff. So,believe me when I tell you. There is a huge difference in your treatment if the doctors office has to file your treatments through Medicare!

You are basically treated like a second rate citizen! I was a Technical Operations manager for many years in the communications industry. The difference between how I'm treated now. Compared to how I was treated when I had my own insurance program. Is like the difference between night and day. This is one of those hard life-lesson's, that most people don't want to deal with. Unless they are directly affected themselves, and that my friends Is the absolute truth!

Having read several different articles on this subject. I am truly appalled by some of the perception's of the people in our country! I firmly believe anyone and everyone should have at least a bare minimum of health care. Regardless of whether they are employed or not!
I seriously doubt that most people have the first clue as to how you are made to feel. When you find yourself in the situation I now find myself in. Along with literally millions of other Americans. We are not freeloaders! Most of us have been working our entire life's, and paying into Social Security. But when it came time for our government to give back a little of what we had paid all our life's. Most of us, since grade school. Well that my friends. Is another article entirely!

Both my wife and myself. Became disabled in the same year. So this article is coming from someone who know's first hand, about the doctors in America. I truly believe that there are still some doctors who are not motivated by the all-mighty dollar. But I've only met a few, in the last several years. In all honesty. The doctor's that are not motivated by the all mighty greenback. Are a very small majority of the whole!

As far as where the common man stands on this issue. I believe whole -heartedly. That they can and do stand right by my side in this matter. For the record. Most doctors are motivated by money! Most certainly not by the oath that they took upon graduation of Medical School! That may very well be where they started. But it's most certainly not where they ended!
