The Bush-Cheney administration claimed to have God's blessings in their daily governmental operations. They will be remembered as the protectors of the US against terrorism but also as the spy administration. The cost of protecting the US was giving up some rights and using the fear of future terrorist attacks as a political tool for re-election. Fear is not a tool used by God fearing people if they profess to be Christians. Fear is a tool used by God fearing terrorists to control people.

If you think you have God leading your political decisions that must put you way out in front of the rest of the world leaders. Nobody should even dare to question your decisions on spying or any other actions to protect the nation from terrorists or other assorted enemies around the world. We have had an administration running the country for almost eight years who feel God is leading them on the war on terrorism. That must be why they will not admit to even making one mistake in Iraq or elseware, not one person has been wrong on anything. When you look at their track record you have to think their theme song is "Lord It Is Hard To Be Humble" when your perfect in so many ways.

September 11, 2001 was a starting point for the loss of some rights for American citizens. The terrorists who attacked the United States do not believe in human rights and there first order of business was to bring that philosophy to our shores. They knew we would have a hard time tracking them down and knowing their whereabouts. We would have to adopt some of their tactics to fight them, we would have to change how we live in our free democracy.

Civilian/Military strategist adopted a plan of a high tech shock and awe military many years ago. What else did we need in this new world of technical warfare? All battles would be fought from long distance. How could those same war planners send our military men and women to die in a tribal civil war with people using guerilla war tactics against each other and our troops? Everyone should demand accountability from those who placed our troops in harms way in Iraq. I hope the word CAKEWALK haunts them for the rest of their lives. The administration's final chapter on Iraq is to rave on about how great the troop surge has been working. They fail to tell the people about a plan to start paying the Sunni insurrgent fighters if they would stop fighting against us. The payoff plan started about the same time that the troop surge was put in place. Will this be the first war won with payoff money in Iraq and Afghanistan? You have to wonder what will happen when the first Sunni doesn't get his monthly check, or will we have to pay them forever? The new government in Iraq already fears the Sunni return to power and our latest move increases their fear.

The Bush-Cheney legacy: They will be remembered as the protectors of the US against terrorism. We have been told many times it is better to fight them over there than here at home. That all sounds real neat but now we have to fight them all over the world, if we plan to continue being the protectors of freedom for all. The US is the last place terrorists want to come to, they would rather see us in bankruptcy court. The worlds most powerful military bogged down by a bunch of tennis shoe wearing warriors with explosives given to them by "our own trading partners", via Iran. This administration has used policies that have emboldened terrorist groups, now terrorists and are making their presence felt all over the world. All freedom loving governments better step up to the plate real soon with plans for all free people to work together fighting the global war on terrorism.
