Guild Wars tips and hints

to get free skills through hero skill points that you earn as you make your way up the Sunspear Title Track. Also, you get two unique professions here, the Dervish and the Paragon, as well as the core six from Prophecies.

EYE OF THE NORTH is designed for existing level 20 characters from any campaign, though you can enter at level 10. Therefore it's not good for creating new characters. Like Nightfall, it gives you heroes throughout the storyline, and these are all level 20. There are three storylines, and you have to complete all of them to finish the campaign. As you progress, you also gain access to unique potions, armour and PvE skills. The Dungeons are full of hidden treasures and each Dungeon quest ends with a treasure chest too. There are a lot of solo quests and minigrames inside EoTN : it's all about playing and having more fun with existing characters.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME 50G FOR STORAGE?

Um, sorry, no. There's a guy just outside the door that's giving away free money, but you have to kill him to get it.

Seriously though, there is no reason for anyone to beg in public places other than sheer laziness. In Factions and Nightfall, doing the first quest or two will give you enough money to open storage. A couple more quests, you'll have enough for armour. In Prophecies, you will have been playing for quite a while before you can access storage, armour or weaponsmiths anyway, and you should have earned quite enough from selling your drops and red iris flowers already.

As far as killing the guy outside the door goes, most battles end with money and stuff lying around for you to take. You can make plenty of money just selling to the merchant and traders; there is no need to farm exclusive items and spam chat. The traders will offer better prices than the merchants for things like dye, runes and insignia, rare materials and often crafting materials. For example, the merchant values all dye at 1 g; the trader may give you thousands for it. Check what the traders buy and sell and always get quotes from them.

You can also make rare materials at a materials crafter and sell them to the traders at a profit. Once again, see which items are in demand and find out where and how to make them.

Finally, identify even white items before selling them to the merchant. This increases the sale value, often quite significantly.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THIS WEAPON IS WORTH?

New players tend to think that because the guy outside the door dropped a gold weapon, they can
