The main problem in the Obama Presidential Campaign is that Barack Obama was a terrible choice by the Democratic party. He is so far to the left that it would seem impossible for the majority of Americans to vote him into office, and the more I observe events unfold in this presidential election, the more incomprehensible it is to me that Barack Obama was the choice of his party.
I believe that John McCain will win this election because he is the most centrist politician in Washington, and has the ability to bring the two parties closer together so that they can work for the American people. That's what they are supposed to be doing, working in our best interests, not trying to tear each other down at the expense of the public. McCain has shown that he can straddle the aisle like no one else on the political scene today, and he is the best hope for this country. We have all observed the results when extremists like Nancy Pelosi are running things.
McCain has proven that he is a true maverick by bucking his party and George Bush on many issues, and he leaves no doubt but that he is his own man. That's what this country needs at this juncture, someone who is willing to put our country first, and politics second, and by tapping governor Palin as his running mate, he has completed the ticket brilliantly by bringing in a complete Washington outsider. Sarah Palin has also shown that she is her own person, unafraid to take on corrupt political machines, even if it means attacking people within her own party. What a great team they will make, and it brings a feeling of hope for the future.
Barack Obama is an extreme liberal, and this would be a terrible choice for this country. We don't need a president who would further polarize our nation, we need someone who can bring us back to the center, and the McCain-Palin ticket is the answer.
Barack Obama has the backing of the lefty kooks in Hollywood, and I think that most Americans don't see eye to eye with that crowd on most issues. In fact, most Americans probably don't see eye to eye with that crowd on any issue.
The biggest problem with Obama is probably his lack of experience at accomplishing anything in his short stint as a senator, and by bringing in Joe Biden, he has blown his whole "change" image. Obama's campaign has many problems and issues, and I think that most Americans now realize this. It was probably a good thing that the campaign has gone on for as long as it has, for it has exposed the real Barack Obama, and he is not yet ready to lead this country.
