A touch, selfless and innocent
Gullible, but you can change the world
A gift of roses bestowed from your eyes
Soft and immortal, brighter than words
Reaching out to a withdrawn hand
Breaking a fall when you're fallen
Kindness, so dominant, a radiance
Nurturing the gardens of humanity
When the sun is all that outshines you,
Children light up your eyes
Sensitive, but loving, taking things from the shoulders of the world
That weigh down, that crush, but you stand for sacrifice
Miracles ever at your gentle fingertips
Because you, Love, know how to touch
Respect, by choice, and compromise by what it is unto itself
And by nature, nothing less than love
Desire, so selfless, a charm and perfection
Even your anger, Love, is gentle
All things living fall under your concern
A tender manner that is spiritual, physical, and beautifully mental

Poetry: Compassion
A Clump Of Clay
I'm nothing but a clump of clay,
I wait to be molded by God's hands.
My shape and gender is known only by
As he approached his local convenience store
He noticed a tattered man sitting by the door
Can you spare some change is what
Bittersweet Symphony
I really hated you when I first met you
I felt like you were lying to everyone around
Seeing you smile
Compassion beams outward to me - flowing
From your bosom there bestowing
Rivers of love from your piercing eyes
Of tender
For Haiti...
Spirit of compassion
may your gracious caring hands
touch the lives of those in need
upon our troubled lands
