Some times life can be hard
Problems come out of nowhere and catch you off-guard
They say what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger
But I say- I can't take it much longer.
So I pray to God, help get me through
He answers in ways that are unexpected, new
It may be a beautiful sunset that I happen to see,
Or the feel of a gentle, warm summer breeze.
It may a beautiful song I hear,
Or an embrace from a loved one, holding me near.
God shows me He cares for me everyday
He promises that He will never leave or forsake me, come what may
I am hopeful that it will all work out, that things happen for a reason.
I lean on the Lord, my family, and my friends, and I await life's next season
