Poetry: Sorrow

I'm no longer me
It's like I've conformed into someone you would like me to be.
Or was I really happier before
Was it the weed?
Or adderal pills?
Or any other drug that made me tremble and gave me chills?
Was it because I felt numb?
Allowing me to set my mind free?
Was it all just a fantasy?
No, it was real
Just like the thoughts I think, or the words I speak.
REAL
Just like the passion I feel
Just like the coke that numbed my throat and mind
Like the ghost that comes back to haunt me from time to time.
Letting me know, making it last
Making me remember the past.
Forcing me to choke back tears
Making me fear
Driving me close to insanity
Do you see me?
Do you see me falling apart slowly?
Or do you pity it and let it make you feel more holy?
Do you stare into my soul with blind eyes?
even when my heart bleeds and cries
Or do you just deny?
It's all just a bunch of lies.
I'm not really hurt
My story is just as common as dirt, no use to acknowledge it
No worth
No use to give more birth to agony.
No need for an apology.
