Reflections

She stared in front of the bathroom mirror, trying to make sense of the days events.

Six words... Six words and she could have undone her whole ten year marriage.

See the day started off the usual way, A quick shower, brushing her shoulder length black hair,
and applying her eye liner. See she liked to keep her makeup simple.
She felt no need to go all out, because she was stunning without makeup.

She got her morning coffee, kissed her husband goodbye and headed off for work.

She walked to her desk and powered up her computer, only to hear that annoying alert: you've got mail!
Louise took another swig of her coffee, and opened her letter addressed from Sandy.
The whole office could not stand Sandy!
She was as loose as the Grand Canyon as far as everyone was concerned.

Rolling her eyes she read the letter. "Meet me in my office as soon as you get in."
Sincerely, Sandy.
Wonderful! "thought Louise" Now I have to start my day, talking to the office slut!
And when the hell did she get an office? Louise

Louise slowly made her way to Sandy's office, all the while thinking about every insult known in the free world.
Good morning Louise. Said Sandy with a sly smile.
I wanted you to be the first to know, I have been promoted to head supervisor, Which means I am now your boss.

I am also informing you that you will be coming up for an evaluation. We need to trim the fat, so to speak. Sandy chuckeled
after announcing this tid-bit to her.
Your full cooperation is expected, and greatly appreciated. "Another sly smile."
That is all, you may go now.

With that Louise returned to her desk fuming!
Twelve years! Twelve years of her life she had given to this job!She had given her all, and now they promote a slut willing to sleep her way to the top!

The rest of the day was kind of a blur, due to the fact she was blinded by anger.
When she arrived home, she was greeted by her husband in the usual way.
He kissed her on the cheek and asked how her day went.

Still fuming, out came those six little words that could very well ruin her marriage.
WHY AM I EVEN WITH YOU?
The look on his face made her heart sink.
Pretending not to notice, she stomped to the bathroom and locked the door.

Standing in front of her mirror, tears started streaming down her beautiful face.
Quietly looking around her pale Blue bathroom, she spotted the austrian crystal wall sconces she chose for the look of the room.
Where did I go wrong? She thought.

Her husband was a good man, she thought as she starred at the door knowing he was on
