Poetry: Dancing

Even though you are no longer here, I still dance. I swirl, twirl, and dip as though you are still dancing with me. My partner, my love. The music has grown softer,but hasn't ended. I circle around chairs and gracefully make my way around the old wood floors. Your laughter rings in my ears and I remember as I dance to our old melody. Soon, I will join you and we can dance together again.
