The Door
The dark still closet brings me comfort and peace
The one once loved is the one I now fear.
The door I did not walk into frightens me,
I seek the quiet darkness so my boys can't hear.
The loneliness that surrounds me allows my repose
The blanket brings imagined shelter, and is always near,
I seek the quiet darkness so my boys can't hear.
The life I lead never soothed me.
I have to get my boys away, they are all I cherish.
The door I did not walk into frightens me,
The corner I once needed no longer brings me peace
He took my boys away they are no longer here.
The door I did not walk into frightens me.
The loss I feel will not bring me solace
The loneliness now closes in all around and crushes me.
And still the door I did not walk into will forever frighten me,
I still seek the darkness and pray my boys never fear the door I did not walk into.

I see those glaring at me in my dreams
I'm haunted by the sound of my own painful screams
"Girl, how'd you get those bruises
Heavy Feet
She heard the footsteps
"Shh wait right here."
Her sister whispered
as she quickly ran from the stairs.
No
She is the girl unnoticed,
She silently cries into her pillow at night,
She creeps into the house after school,
scared and
Shaken Still
I sit here on shore
by my sea of regret
drowning in memories
I'd die to forget
Passing out life-lines
to me back
You thow me around
Like I'm just G.I. Joe
From when you were a boy
You pretend that you're playing
When you bend back my arms
