Tips for guys: Don't do these dumb things or else you might run your first date!

Remember when you were a child and your parents would take you out to a restaurant, doctor's visit, or to relative's home? They would always say, "Be on your best behavior". This is the same case when it comes to dating. Although you have been told your whole life that you should be yourself, there are still restrictions on how you should act.

Many folks that go out on dates spend so much time worrying about getting a second date that they don't enjoy the first one. They key is to relax and have a good time. When you are comfortable it is easier to think clearer and make better choices. This way, you can avoid doing dumb things and ruining your first date.

Planning a date is a very important thing. Pick an activity that you can both enjoy together. If you pick a place that isn't fun for the woman you are taking out then she isn't going to want to go back out again. Boring your date to tears will not get you a second date.

Don't go out on your date without bathing or putting on clean clothes. Women like men that take care of themselves and their bodies. If you have bad hygiene or smell foul your date is going to be spending all her time trying not to get nauseated.

Avoid being a party pooper. If you spend all of your time being insecure, quiet, negative, whiney, or boring your date is not going to have a good time. Be confident and outgoing. You are out to have fun so be willing to take a chance and make it happen.

Mind your manners! If you are rude or disgusting you aren't going to make a good impression. If you have to release body functions such as fart, burp, belch, or sneeze try to leave your date's side. If you can't you should at least apologize and say, "Excuse me".

A common misconception is that women are only interested in money. Some women are gold diggers but not all are. If you spend all of your time flashing your cash and talking about your finances you will likely bore a woman who isn't in to material possessions.

Once you have started flashing that money you should be willing to spend a little. If you are stingy or expect the woman to pay the bill then you look like a freeloader. Pay for the bills you accumulate and do it without showing off. This will gain you bonus points in your date's book.

When you are out with a woman you should pay attention to her. If you are looking at or flirting with other women you are portraying yourself as a player. Most women want a one-woman
