Poetry: Shields

by Shannon Stanfield

Created on: September 16, 2008

Autumn rains and Winter snows
This day and time who knows
Hurricanes and Tropical storms
Out of these danger forms
Tornadoes and Typhoons appear
Stirring up awesome fear
Lightning strikes and Hail falls hard
Not a good time to be in your yard
Take cover all who's frightened
Fear God only and you'll be enlightened
Spring flowers are beautiful day or night
Please make sure you stay in God's sight
Power and glory belong to the King
Thank Him and praise Him as you sing
