Looking out my window
I notice things outside,
As I glare out my window.
There are people that walk by this way.
While in my home and I labor.
Sometimes, I wish I could "rewind"
Or simply hit "pause",
to watch this curious mankind
since they fascinate me, just because.
It would be nice to hit "record"
or maybe to simply "fast forward"
because I become bored
but other times, with a gaze, straightforward.
If I had a simple "Guide"
I could change the "channel"
I could more effectively Hide
with a simple "Control panel".
If only I could turn up the "volume"
Their words wouldn't be "Mute"
Then I could listen in.
but I guess it's moot.
