The popularity of the Volkswagen Beeetle in decades past is not surprising when you consider the background to the car and the purpose of its creation. Economy was the big selling point for the vehicle as a car that was competitively priced and was also economical to drive. The unique shape of the car was one that made it instantly recognizable on the road and it is no wonder it was one of the most widely owned car, especially in the 1970s at the height of its popularity.
The Volkswagen Beetle was originally an economy car devised in the 1930s by the Third Reich and literally means "People's Car". The concept was to make an economic car available to the masses and the Volkswagen was the result. Research will help you determine how much you should pay for the car in question.
CONDITION
It is crucial before buying a classic car to give it a full inspection. Perhaps you will do this personally or will arrange to take along a qualified mechanic who can check the car in a way you are not able to do. Although it is an older car, you will want to see that it has been kept in reasonable condition and that
