Getting inspired

Looking for ideas or topics to write about? Writers know that inspiration can be found almost anywhere. Books, movies, television, and newspapers all contain valuable resources and content which can be used to inspire the aspiring writer. Getting inspired to do something or create a special something, requires a place or environment conducive to creativity. Environments can prompt people to invent, create, act, or instigate.

Inspiration is an essential in every part of the creative person thought processes. Finding ideas to change the world or to simply redo your bathroom, is simple when you know how to become inspired. Locating a peaceful, quiet place may enliven even the dullest of senses. Experiencing the calm, quiet atmosphere of a church or a small lot in the middle of a vast, barren, but beautiful dessert may animate thoughts and lead to inspiration. Still and placid places tend to exalt feelings of closeness with God and invigorate the lowly spirit. Inspired by these settings, people can pursue or conceive of solutions or inventions.

Inspiration actually begins in the heart of its pursuer. The heart longs for external stimulation and there for seeks it. Intellectual stimulation, creative production, and spiritual awakening can result from becoming inspired. Intellectual inspiration can be obtained from education, interaction, and reaction to a specific problem or situation. Even during ancient times, people must have been inspired by the animals they saw, the suffering they witnessed, and social problems they experienced. Truly, inspiration comes from many sources, but it usually begins with what's in our hearts.

When the heart speaks to and provides the passion to drive us to seek some form of inspiration, our minds are there to throw everything together and find solutions. The mind analyzes all of the information provided by our hearts and begins calculating applications that would make actually make sense to us. The heart, does not use logic, but is persuaded by what we see, hear, taste, smell, and touch. The mind , however uses a great deal of logic to determine if our heart's desires can be met. The mind and the heart combined give us inspiration or supply us with all of the necessary information to locate and utilize inspiration.

Inspiration can be specific to events, places, problems, and people. If we want to be inspired to interact with God or write a composition on spirituality we may sit at a church. If we wish to be inspired to write poetry, we may like to read books about poetry. Watching the olympic games on television can inspire a boy to try out for the track team at school. Inspiration, is a gift. This gift offers us passion, the driving force behind inspiration. When seeking inspiration of any kind, find a place which is specific to your ideals, needs, and goals.
