They Made The Difference
Several years ago,
he discovered the path to go.
Uprooting his family from their cozy nest,
moved them several states away to be blessed.
The preacher felt Gods leading,
nothing altered his proceeding.
Many hours later arrived they,
in a small town so far away.
He knelt on his knees and bowed his head,
"Please Lord show me," he said.
Before his eyes it began to appear,
a little brick church very near.
Ran down and beat up oh yes,
None the less it was good to be blessed.
All around it he walked,
he prayed as his kids excitedly talked.
Much work they had to do,
to fill those empty pews.
The days and hours went by so fast,
but it was finally ready at last.
One cloudless Sunday he stood with doors open wide,
and looked at all of Gods wonders outside.
He prayed God blessings on all those that would come,
from lawyers, doctors, plumbers and the town bum.
Minutes later he did see,
the smiling faces of the first family.
The preacher lovingly greeted all four,
and nervously awaited for more.
It was time for his sermon to begin,
to his amazement only a few more entered in.
Knowing that no matter the number before him,
he came to share Gods word with them.
He began telling of God's love,
and of his precious son from above.
He told how he was crucified,
and of all those who mourned and cried.
The air turned cold in the room,
as he explained hell and doom.
The preacher said forever burning I would be,
If I didn't ask Jesus to save me.
After that he said we would bow and pray,
in my heart I knew I had to be saved today.
I did not know how to begin or what to say,
I sighed with relief as he said I will show you the way.
Forever grateful I am to that man,
for following Gods leading and plan.
Also thankful to his wife,
for helping me in my new life.
Six years ago today,
I was lost in every way.
But praise God I now know where I will be,
when thinking about my eternity.
I will never forget this family so dear,
and the sacrifice made with no fear.
Keeping following Gods lead,
for there are many more souls to be freed!
(Dedicated to Stephen and Joy Bishop and family)

Where's the grain, where are the deeds
Kids running in pain, shoulders bleeding wounds gashing
When has the world ever changed
You know I think it's funny how everyone is waiting
Waiting for the world to change...or maybe just the fading

Why can’t we live in peace?
Is it so hard not to fight?
Why can’t we stop the wars?
Is it so hard to make a
