Speak Up, Sweet Child
Speak up, sweet child,
Your tendencies, so mild.
Do not let
Yourself forget,
You have a voice,
You have a choice.
Don't let this world abuse you,
And strip you of your joy so few.
Stand strong,
Don't give in to what you know is wrong.
To yourself, be true,
Show mercy in all that you do.
Speak up, sweet child,
Your eyes so wild.
Do not let
Yourself forget,
You have a voice,
You have a choice.
Cling to those you love,
And always set your eyes above.
Live your life full,
And fill your soul.
Be a beacon of peace,
And pray without cease.
Speak up, sweet child,
And all the long while,
Do not let
Yourself forget,
You have a voice,
You have a choice.

to all who believe in its worth.
