Best movie love scenes

They are the love scenes in movies that grab your heart, pull it out of your chest, and leave you gasping for breath. The scenes that leave you riveted to the movie or television screen unable to look away. They are the best movie love scenes that have ever been made.

One movie that has many of these heart stopping love scenes is "Ghost". Either Patrick Swayze is just an amazing actor or he just seems to focus in on these dramatic love scenes. His love scenes can stop your heart in mid beat, bring tears to your eyes, and draw you directly into the imaginary role that he is playing out. Glued to the screen your emotions are at his total mercy as he weaves his magic before you.

His movie Ghost was so powerful a love movie that it actually has a number of these heart wrenching scenes. When his hands are helping her mold her sculpture. The moment when she realizes that he is really gone, and of course also the moment, when he realizes that he is gone. The penny floating in space toward her. Their last kiss. This movie grabs your heart from the very first love scene and savagely tugs it through scene after scene within the movie. I think you begin breathing again only when the closing credits start floating over the darkening screen.

Another of Patrick Swayze's movies that strikes it big in the love scene department is Dirty Dancing. Before you even see the movie the title gives it away. "Dirty Dancing" you just know that those dance scenes are going to also be amazing love scenes. And they are! From the first basic clumsy steps that they take together as he tries to teach her to dance, to their final big dance scene at the end, this movie is pure gooshy mushy tantalizing love after love scene! Mr. Swayze just leads you along like a little puppy on a leash as he pulls you through each of this movies many dance scenes.

But of course the most memorable movie love scene of all time takes place between Rhett Butler and Scarlett O'Hara at the foot of that magnificent of all staircases. The passionate kiss after which he swoops her into his arms and whisks her upstairs with him. It is easy to imagine exactly how dramatic that classic love scene was to those watching it back when "Gone With The Wind" first flashed across American Movie Screens. It goes down in history as perhaps the greatest classic love scene ever.

For those who love a great love story, definitely take in one of these classic movies, they are guaranteed to tug at your old heart strings.
