Chourus
Why does the river always flow into the sea?
Why does the lock need a certain key?
Why do we hope and why do we pray?
What's left of you at the end of the day?
What are we searching for and is it worth the pain?
How can you love me when you don't know my name?
Verse 1
With time on my side, I want to run and hide
can't find a way to say what i need to say
I am lost all alone, I can't find my way home
back to the girl that i used to be
In a crowded place, bitter tears sting my face
I wonder how I'm still alive
The river keeps flowing and I keep going
When will it come to an end?

Verse 2
I'm on the brink,I'm in too deep to think
I can't stop it now that it's started
My heart's breaking, every step that i am taking
Is leading me further away
The mirror never lies, it's there in my eyes
The one I can't see is me
The river keeps flowing and I keep going
When will it come to an end
