Authentic self
where do you hide
An epic search
I journey still
To find the path
where I can guide
Myself evolving
spirit and will
I only want to
rise above
Resenting
no new quandary
Over lego mountains
Screeching saxophones trill
Beyond these horizons
of laundry
Oh oracle is there
nothing more
Have I become
such stereotype
Nothing's new
under the sun
Suburban magpie
with grimace and gripe
But wait I see
Through streaked pane
Myself almost but
better yet
Beyond belief
So much the same
His eyes and chin
are set
The School Bus Stops
He steps down
He looks to me
No guise of gall
He never finds
anything wanting
Just as I am
I am perfect in all
