As the end of the Bush administaration draws near, I'm grateful for the fact that we have remained safe under his watch. After coming into a soiled White House following his predecessor, and facing the unchecked terror that would change the world, all has been peaceful on our shores. That is subject to change in November, especially if the liberals have their way.

If you listen to the left-wing, tinfoil-hat crowd, you would get the impression that we are in grave danger of not only being attacked from the homicide bombers, but from Uncle Sam as well.

That's right, those "security cams" you see at the 7-11 are really placed there by the CIA to see what you are purchasing. Are you a mad bomber? Are you dark-skinned and named Obama? ... oh, I forgot, he may the next Commander in Chief!

Chicken Little is alive and well, and has taken over the liberal, nut-job blogosphere. There is a conspiracy for everything that comes out of GWB's office. People on the left are so scared of this administration that they are carrying their fears over onto the Republican VP candidate! Sarah what's her name is being trashed for being a woman, and seeking political power. When Hillary did the same, she was hailed as a role model, while her homely daughter got a free pass from the media. Amazing how the left thinks.

If Hussein Obama is elected as our next president, I believe there will be dancing in the streets of terror-town. The bombs will be going off like celebratory fireworks, and Americans will be dying around the globe. That's not a frightening thing to me, because I've seen it coming for a long time. I have real Peace through Christ, so the things of the world, while troubling to some, are pale in comparison to whats really important.

There is one thing that can't be taken away from Bush, and that is his honor. He is a man with the guts to stand for something, and do what he says he will do. That is extremely rare in todays world, and quite refreshing in my view. This also seems to be true of Sarah P, and perhaps this is what tweaks the coat-hanger antennaes around the world. With this mindset in place, manipulation from outside (liberal) sources is very difficult. Unlike Obama, who appears to be a little puppet-boy, she has a mind of her own.

It will take considerable time before any honest evaluation of the Bush/Cheney legacy can be assessed, but I think they will do just fine. After a few terror attacks in small town shopping malls or a nuclear buildup in the mid-east, minds will be changed. When it hits close to home, and people start screaming at Obama to do something, then they will come to appreciate what freedom is all about.
