When oftentimes the future dawns
So dim and far away
We wonder what it holds for us
Its hours and its days.
We leave the warmth of college life
The friendship of its halls
The laughter, fun, and fellowship
For an unknown future calls.
What does it hold in store for us
We wonder, fearfully
What will its closed door open to
Oh what, what could it be?
We want to hold on close to school
It's our security
Yet we want to go out in the world
And be ourselves, be free.
No longer stifled by college life
The lessons, or the classes
No longer bound by rules and rules
Or graded fails or passes.
But it's a big step to this crazy world
From out of college ways
From the usual college ups and downs
To unknown, changing days.
But be strong, stand sure, for God is there
To hear our feeble cries
He knows our needs and sees our tears
He'll answer all our whys.
He loves us so and wants the best
For us, His children dear
He'll guide our steps with loving hands
Just trust, and do not fear.
His light shines strong alone our path
To guide us every day
It never flickers, dies or dims
It's there to lead the way.
So Senior, as the day draws near
When you leave school behind
Remember God's forever there
And those who seek will find.

You were placed on my belly weighing four and a half pounds
Now today you are a man wearing a cap
When oftentimes the future dawns
So dim and far away
We wonder what it holds for us
Its hours and its days.
We leave the warmth

From the challenge you come,
Defeated your enemy: doom
From the gloom you come;
Challenge faced and met,
TODAY IS THE DAY (FOR YOU TO REFLECT)
Today is the day
when the colourful decorations set,
the numerous stalls open - all lively,

Through all the years we've been here,
Both good times and the bad,
To look upon the memories
And the fun times that we've
