I think of you
I think of your smile
The sound of your laugh
The soft touch of your lips
I breathe you in when I walk
I see you as we walk and talk
I imagine the things we would said
You and I walking side by side
You looking at me
The way I'm looking at you
I wonder what you're thinking
I wonder if you think of me this way
My hands sweat when I'm near you
My heart beats heavily
It feels like an earthquake inside
My soul aches
Get out of me
Free my body of the pain
The pain of loving you
Loving you with all of me

Poetry: Getting over you
I tell myself we are over
But it is so hard to believe
For when the words start to sink in
I can barely breathe
There
A heart bleeding crimson Flows free and flows deep A love built on dreams Impossible to keep
Arms left outstretched Now are
BROKEN HEARTS STILL BEAT
I can fake enough calm to keep it together
Adequate for some mild deception
I took more than a
So now that you're gone
What happens next
What comes after the end
Am I supposed to keep breathing
When will I start sleeping
Puppet Master
You walked back into my life today,
Just like you had never left
All smiles and kind words,
Like you never left
