Beach vacation packing tips for women: Who doesn't like going to the beach. However before you go, listen to the weather forecast. Also, make sure the beach is open. Before you leave, let someone know where you are going and when you intend to come back.

Purchase a very large bag. At the beginning of the season, go to the mall and get a bag. Also get knapsacks for the children.

You might wish to take public transit rather than the car. Parking doesn't really exist. the inside of a car can get boiling hot. Perhaps you would also keep the pet dog as home. Give the dog a long walk when you come back from the beach.

Your list for packing should include the following:

1. Feminine hygiene supplies- sanitary pads and tampons. Even if you are not on your period, you don't want to be caught by surprise. You might want to take a roll of toilet paper in case there isn't any in the washroom at the beach. Also, bring some liquid soap.

2. A good first aid kit. The pads will be useful for this too. Buy a first aid kit from the Red cross or St. John Ambulance. The embellish it. Be sure to bring medicine for allergies such as allergies against bees or peanut butter. A god first aid kit has lots of triangular bandages. Better yet, arrange for you and your family to take a first aid course. This is the best thing you can do.

3. Sun screen. Put on you and the kids. Apply sun screen on you and the kids when you first arrive at the beach and then after going swimming. Cover on the body.

4. A really nice swimsuit - I prefer a one piece. I envy women who can wear two pieces or bikinis. I bought my swimsuit at Zellars.

5. Refreshments - fruit, sandwiches and drinks. Watermelon, peaches, plums are all in season in the summer. Tuna sandwiches, cold cuts, cheese and tomato sandwiches. juice You might consider Tupperware or Ziploc to pack the food. Some people have fancy picnic baskets.

6. Books and toys - for you and the kids. Balls. sand shovels. You may read but also keep your eye on the children. A kite is fun.

7. Sunglasses

8. It is a good idea if both you and your children take swimming lessons.

9 If the beach is in another country, visit your doctor first for things like a hepatitis shot.

10. Discuss with your children where you are going to meet in case someone gets lost.

Going to the beach can be a lot of fun. As the old girl guide motto goes - "Be Prepared".
