the reasons to write poems vary for that
the benefits we strive for unreal to some
the meanings found in my works hoped felt
the love of writing and the comfort in
not felt anything but free to speak from
the heart, body ,soul, mind, and brains
and well recieved by most any reading
but just one simple poem done in this way
could out live the poet in its being read
with ease in this we write to live on
correcting and inspiring or living in
this worldly time we exist today for
tommorow may never come to us so write on!
i know i will write any subject matter
like my views and thoughts and personal
knowledge as well as opinions i share
doing so with or without care hope
but not needing to know the fans of poems
done to date or the impact they make
be it little or great it is a talent
i love started as a request by my wife
then a hobby it became now hopeing to
become more than a amature poet not
sure why it just has become my desire
but to all write with a passion and a fire!
