No! Why should they? This is the chance they take to further political ambitions. Not only do I feel that our government should not contribute to election campaigns but I can't understand how it could even be a considered alternative. The government as an entity should not even be put into the equation. Think of it this way did your employer pay for your gas to drive to your first interview with them? How about this did your employer buy you the suite and tie to look nice the first time they saw you, I don't think so. So why should the government pay you to try and get a job for them.

In essence if we pay the government then we in all actuality are paying for these ridiculously costly campaigns. Personally I am sick of listening to two people lie on television about each other or worse listen to two politicians who are looking for stardom exaggerate about the things that they are planning to do why they are in office. Consider this how many politicians that you have voted for that have been elected followed through and fulfilled all their bloated promises. I don't think many politicians even manage to complete half of the promises they make and that's being more then of fair of me to say so. The government in general is already involved in every aspect of are lives ,why would we want them two decide how much of our tax paying monies gets distributed to people who aren't even working for us yet. This in my opinion is a foolish way to spend our hard earned money. After this what's next for the government throw money at? Maybe it will be to pay for some person to become the Secretary of Toilet Paper Distribution.

In conclusion I strongly feel that the government would be doing us the tax payers a grave disservice by funding the political aspirations of people who are not even in the positions that they are attempting to hold. But to be fair about it since it is all our money that funds this great country of ours maybe it should be put to the vote so that all wishing to have their voices heard can and for those who wish to remain silent or think its not important enough to have an opinion on how government spends are money remain quite. I do feel that the vote is still the best way to make this kind of decision no matter what my own opinion might be ,voting is our privaledge and should always be exercised when deciding how the government spends our money . The simple thing about this is that if a vote says pay then the only ones that we can blame is ourselves if we didnt do are duties and cast your vote so that your voice maybe heard.
