experienced, that sensation would be a similar one to the feeling of confusion that chronic fatigue gives to the individuals who suffer from its ill effects.
Another common misunderstanding of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is that fatigue is the only aspect to this disease and it is the only symptom that these individuals suffer from. There are actually many other painful symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome, severe migraines or reoccurring headaches, swollen and inflamed joints, tender or sore muscles, chest pain, jaw pain, abdominal pain, and oversensitivity to external stimuli, coughing or wheezing. In addition to these they may suffer from night sweats, sleep difficulties, irregular heartbeat or other additional symptoms. Although chronic fatigue is the main symptom of this illness, and usually the most disabling, it is only one aspect of this much misunderstood disease.
If there were not so much confusion surrounding chronic fatigue then the severe feelings of depression, frustration and of alienation that often accompany this illness might not have to occur. The fight for understanding from, employers, insurance companies, health professionals, friends, family and other sources of support for this illness would be much easier to acquire if the illness itself were more easily understood. Life itself would be so much easier to live for those who suffer from the effects of this devastating illness.
I know because I suffer from Chronic Fatigue.
