Farm Frenzy 2, by Alawar Entertainment is an enjoyable computer game for all ages and all game skill levels. What began as a sixty minute demo quickly became the very first purchased computer game for my family as one weekend with the family gathered from various locations became addicted to the sounds of chickens clucking, cows mooing and the threat of bears in all sizes quickly eating everything you worked hard to achieve.

This delightful game takes you on a trip along dirt and paved roads as you earn money to invest in farm animals to accomplish goals for each stop. The player is faced with keeping the animals hydrated with well water, collecting the animals produce and protecting their investments from the threat of bears; brown bears, panda bears, grizzly bears and menacing huge polar bears. The graphics make the visit to the farm life like as the animals are realistic and the sounds of water filling the well and the sound of chickens clucking in desperation of thirst add much to the fast paced game play.

Each stop along the farm sets a goal to accomplish along with a time limit to accomplish this goal to earn the coveted gold award. If the player completes the goal after the time limit, he can either win a silver award or a blue marker. Each award whether gold, silver or blue pays a bonus so even small children will feel accomplished once they finish the round. The game round does not stop until the goal is met which is very nice for small children to enjoy playing with the animals and learning such things as cows produce milk that goes to the creamery to produce butter that eventually makes cheese.

The sound affects of the animals, background music, water gurgling and bears growling add to the overall experience of Farm Frenzy 2. The player, if he is listening, will have a second warning of upcoming danger to his livestock's peril to act quickly. This game is addicting and the sound will stay in your head long after your computer has been turned off.

While this game is child friendly, the older members of your household will be fully engaged as well. The goals to accomplish get more intense and there are roadblocks along the way when the player has to go back to previous levels to earn more points in order to purchase items to proceed through the game. Along the journey, exciting awards are given such as the fastest time, completing ten levels without losing a single animal and many other awards. Interesting things pop up or swing by to keep you always on your toes for the unexpected.

Players can return to levels, restart or log off and the game will continue when you sign back on. From the most accomplished computer game player to the child in your household, this game offers enjoyment on all levels. Whether playing with a single player or each having his own game, Farm Frenzy 2 can be as competitive or calmly enjoyable for every member in your household.
