There are so many places to go besides the beaches to enjoy a little eco-tourism. There's the newly minted Blue Heron Trail to watch alligators and wading birds. The Grand Lagoon offers 1.5 miles of pristine white beaches, situated on the Gulf of Mexico. St. Andrew's Park is 1260 -acres of undeveloped island. It offers, relaxation, privacy and sand dunes galore! Shell Island offers 700 acres of a beachcomber's paradise on a stunning undeveloped island.

WEATHER

During New Year's Eve, the weather is incredibly delightful, at Panama City Beach. Hurricane season is long gone, meaning warm temperatures in the 60's and 70's. Enjoy a romantic evening for two, strolling on the beach. Ring in the New Year while enjoying the luxury of a Jacuzzi outside under the stars, while listening to the surf gently lap up on the shore.

Come to Panama City Beach earlier in December to enjoy the boat parade on December 13, when people decorate their boats with colorful lights. Panama City Beach is also very inexpensive when compared to other Florida destinations and you can enjoy all the warmth and hospitality this area has to offer for truly great prices.
