The Past Is No Place To Live
You crashed in through my atmosphere
You took my hand, don't worry dear
There's nothing for you in your past
Just lessons learned
Mistakes you had
I loved you once
But not again
You broke my heart
It's yet to mend
Look into my eyes
And say
All the things you feel for me
Inevitably
All things pass
You loved me once
But not again
I broke your heart
It's yet to mend
Turn off the light and lay with me
This won't work
It's not what we need
Your ghost begs to be let in
My heart says no
My mind says yes
You crashed in through my atmosphere
Down my cheek ran a tear
The past is no place
To live
The past is no place
To live
